It’s that time of year again for the 2011 Year End Convention- “Welcome to the Jungle”

Here are a few things to note:

1. Prices have increase until Feb 1 for full registration to convention to $65 dollars (includes banquet dinner). If you do not register and pay for full registration or for $25 banquet fee by Feb 1^st at noon, you will not be allowed to attend the dinner portion of the agenda on Saturday February 4.

2. If you can’t make all of convention and want to make L.O.T.S. (Local Officer Training School) it’s only $15 dollars

3. Contact the Hilton Garden Inn (8910 Farrow Rd) http://www.hiltongardeninn.com/en/gi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=CAENOGI to reserve your room for $79/night (plus tax) for a King or 2 Queen beds. 803-807-9000

The Charleston Jaycees are pleased to be hosting the SC Jaycees 3rd Quarter Convention the weekend of November 19th at the Holiday Inn Express in Summerville, SC.

You are not going to want to miss out on this jammed packed weekend of fun. The Charleston Jaycees will be introducing convention attendees to innovative and relative training conducted by professionals that continue to excel in their related fields.

Convention Registration is $30 per person until November 14th and $45 per person after November 14th and onsite. Registration may be paid via PayPal to Charleston_Jaycees@yahoo.com or by check made payable to the Charleston Jaycees and mailed to Charleston Jaycees PO Box 30446 Charleston, SC 29417. Please include your full name, chapter name and if you are a member of an honor group you’re your registration.

The Holiday Inn Express has generously lowered their room rates to $79 a night for convention participants. Rooms include free Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, microwave and a hot breakfast. Pet friendly rooms are also available. You may make your room reservation via phone (843) 875-3300; please state that you are with the Charleston Jaycees. You must make your reservation NLT Friday November 5th to ensure you receive the discounted room rate.

The theme for the Friday Night Onto Party is Team Spirit, be sure to come ready to represent in your favorite teams colors. State Competitions will also take place at the convention; please contact Competitions Coordinator Gianandrea Maoli for prepared competitions topics.
